“Now We Have Her”

Fear Girl slowly wakes up on the floor of a hallway. She hears a lot of commotion going on. She slowly pulls herself off the floor against the wall. She shakes her head to get rid of the cobwebs, then notices people running towards her, yelling. She recognizes the female running at her as Girl X and then realizes that it’s a Guard running right behind her. Girl X yells at her to get out of the way. The guard is yelling at Girl X to stop or she will shoot. As Girl X runs by Fear Girl she hears 4 shots fired. The next thing Fear Girl knows, she has three darts sticking into her chest. Girl X continues to run down the hall. All of a sudden, Cloaker appears at the end of the hallway. Girl X sees it and decides to take her chances and continues to make a beeline directly towards Cloaker.
Fear Girl has started to feel the effects of the darts in her chest as they were filled with sedatives. As the guard gets to her position her eyes roll back and she falls forward. The Guard has no choice but to catch her as she passes out. This stops the Guard in her tracks. All the guard can do is watch as Girl X disappears into the folds of the Cloaker. “Damn it!” the guard curses and pulls out a radio. “Controller, she got away.” The guard reports. “Did you hit her with a dart?” Controller replies. “I got her with one – Fear Girl got in the way of the other 3,” the guard responds. “Glade, is that enough to track her?” Controller asks. Glade’s voice responds over the radio: “Yes its enough to track her for about 30 minutes and there should be enough sedative in her to put her to sleep in about 10 to 15 minutes. So we have her.” Controller expresser her appreciation. The guard, frustrated over loosing favor with Controller, gives Fear Girl a couple of punches and then lets her fall to the floor, completely out cold.
Girl X appears in another part of the Panopticon. She feels a sharp pain in the back of her one arm. She reaches back and pulls out a dart. “Damn.” She responds while checking out the dart. “One of Glade’s tranq sedative darts.” She starts looking around for a place she can hide so she will not be found when she passes out from the sedative. As she searches she gets sleepier and sleepier. Finally she hears a cough and turns around.
“So this is the legendary Girl X” the voice says as Glade deactivates her stealth camouflage and appears out of nowhere. “Glade I was expecting you,” Girl X responds. “Didn’t think I would find you so quickly did you?” Glade asks her. “Lets just get this over with,” Girl X tells her and moves into a fighting stance. “All right, if that is what you want, darling,” Glade responds. Bows to Girl X and goes into a fighting stance. They stare each other down for a moment then start to fight.
Girl X puts up a good fight but the sedative is taking its toll. Eventually Glade gets behind Girl X and slaps a tight sleeper hold on her. Girl X tries to fight out of it but is fading fast. Just as she starts to pass out, Fear Girl walks around the corner. “What the Hell?” Fear Girl asks, suddenly reacting to Glade’s throwing star striking her in the middle of the chest. Almost instantaneously, a blank look comes over her face and Fear Girl falls backwards to the floor.
Girl X takes advantage of Glade’s momentary distraction and gives a few elbows to Glade’s midsection, causing Glade to release her. One more shot to Glade’s midsection doubles her over. Girl X then connects a knee squarely to Glades chin knocking her out instantly. Glade falls to the ground and Girl X staggers off.
Just as Glade wakes up she sees Cloaker has appeared behind Girl X. She shouts no and reaches towards Girl X just as the Cloaker engulfs her. Glade pounds the ground with her fist in frustration. Then picks herself off the ground adjusts her outfit and walks over to the fallen Fear Girl. She looks down at her with a look that could kill. Fear Girl just lays there staring off into nothing. “Wrong place, wrong time” Glade says to the motionless Fear Girl, then proceeds to kick her a number of times before finally walking away in disgust.
Girl X appears in another hallway in the Panopticon. She is practically out on her feet. She is holding herself up and guiding herself down the wall of the hallway. She goes around a corner and literally runs right into O. “Hello, what do we have here?” O asks Girl X. “You look like you’re ready for a long nap. Here, let me give you a goodnight kiss before you go to sleep,” O offers. “No, stay away,” Girl X sleepily tells her. O does not listen and proceeds to plant a lengthy kiss on Girl X’s lips.
Between the sedative in her system, the fight with Glade, and now the poisonous kiss of O, it is too much for even Girl X and she finally passes out in O’s arms. O finishes her kiss and Girl X’s head falls backwards and her back arches a bit, only being held up by O’s embrace. O checks Girl X’s eyes, overjoyed that she is completely out cold. She taps her ear and says “Controller I have her. I have Girl X in sector 7.”
“That’s great. Now don’t move,” is the response from the Controller. O notices that the area is filling with gas. “What the hell is going on?” She demands to know. “Just making sure she does not escape again,” Controller responds. “I told you I have her! She is sleeping like a baby in my arms, you don’t need the gas,” O pleads. “It’s only some freeze gas. You will be fine in a few minutes,” Controller reassures her. In moments the hallway completely fills with gas, freezing O and Girl X in place.
The Guards wait for the gas to dissipate in Sector 7. Once it does they storm the area. They surround O, but instead of finding her holding Girl X, she has Fear Girl frozen asleep in her grasp. The guards report back to Controller of their findings. An upset Controller tells them to unthaw them. The guards hit them with a heat wave gun. O comes out of her frozen coma completely surprised to find Fear Girl in her arms. Two guards pull Fear Girl from O’s arms, holding her up by her outstretched arms.
The lead guard wakes Fear Girl up and starts to demand where Girl X is. Fear Girl responds she does not know. The guard slaps her across the face a few times then asks the question again. Fear Girl just spits at the guard who slaps her again. The guard reports to Controller, waiting for more instructions. Controller responds: Make an example of her. The guard replies: With pleasure. Everyone has now gathered in a room. The original guard, Glade and O are standing a few feet in front of Fear Girl, who is held in place by two guards again with her arms outstretched. The lead guard is yelling at them for their ineptitude, and with every point Fear Girl is hit with a prod. Finally the lead guard tells them if they fail again, this is the fate that awaits them. With that The Dead comes in and stands behind Fear Girl. He grabs her by the chin with one hand and the other on the back of Fear Girl’s head and then violently twists her head from side to side, snapping her neck. She instantly goes limp only being held up the guard holding her arms. Her head falls forward. The lead guard now walks behind Fear Girl. Cautiously nudges The Dead out of the way. Then lifts Fear Girl’s head by the hair to show her lifeless face to the group. “This is your fate if you fail once more! Then we will throw your corpses into The Minotaur’s cage and let him have his way with you for as long as he likes. Do you understand?” The guard, Glade and O all say yes at the same time. “Good” the lead guard says, then releases Fear Girl’s hair and leaves. Her head falls forward once again. The guards on either side of her slowly lower her to her knees then walk away, allowing her to crumple to the floor.
The guard with Glade and O quickly leaves to catch up to the others. Glade goes over to Fear Girl, pats her on the head and tells her she should have betrayed Girl X, then leaves. O goes over to Fear Girl, lifts her head up by the chin, closes Fear Girls eyes then gives her a final kiss on the lips. She lays her down on her back and leaves as well.
After a few moments Girl X appears in the room and makes her way over to Fear Girl. She straightens out her legs for her. Sits her up brushes the hair from her face. Tells her she is so sorry about how this turned out but assures her they will find away out of the Panopticon one day soon. She gives Fear Girl a kiss on the forehead, lays her back down, places one of Fear Girl’s hands on top of her chest and then the other. Starts to walk away then stops, blows her one last kiss, then slips away unseen.
